In the crusher, large chunks of coal are fed by a chain conveyor to the infeed of the crusher.If a miner's boot protrudes into the chain conveyor line, it can get caught in the conveyor claws and cause the miner to be pulled into the crusher, which, in the worst case, could lead to the death of the miner. This is where our personal component comes into play, and switches off the conveyor line in case of danger.
