LOC 30 Positioning system for locating buried miners.
In the underground mining industry, miners are often buried when seismic events occur. Often there is a good chance that some are still alive, and must be quickly rescued.
Even though clearing machinery can be used to clear away large amounts of material in a short time, in order to avoid further injuring or even killing buried miners, our LOC 30 positioning system can be used beforehand to determine where one or more people are located and this can be done from a distance of up to 30 m.This is where our personal component is used to locate the miner.
